The mini tracker operates on a Phone SIM card that is inserted into the mini tracker... to get a SIM card you would need to buy from your cell phone provider... In most cases you would need to add a extra line to obtain your sim card from service provider...with that number you call the sim card that is inserted in the mini tracker and it will transmit longitude and longitude to your cell phone...you then can put the information into your cell phone GPS and learn the location of where the mini tracker is located or you can go to Google Earth and get a birds eye view...
